Let Your Unused Device Make a Difference

Our lives have become increasingly intertwined with technology and the devices we use on a daily basis. So many of these devices once they are replaced with a newer model are forgotten about and placed in a cupboard or drawer in our homes or can even be thrown out. In Calcutta we have witnessed first hand the need for people living and working in marginalised communities to use technology to allow them to further develop in their work and studies. By having access to the technology they require it will help them to create brighter futures for themselves and in their communities.

We have identified a number of college students from marginalised communities and local NGO workers in Calcutta who would greatly benefit from accessing technology and using it in their daily lives. If you have any unused and in working order laptops, tablets, digital cameras and mobile smart phones that you would like to donate towards a college student from a poor background or a local person working on a daily basis in disadvantaged communities then we would like to hear from you.
