New Agreement

The past year has been a very exciting time for us in Calcutta Connect as it marked the first full year of our involvement in the Friends of Calcutta – Development Action Society Programme. This programme has involved us co-funding with Friends of Calcutta the running of there education centres in Calcutta. With the first year of the agreement coming to a close we were delighted to agree to commit to running the programme for a further three years up to 2017.

Alongside Friends of Calcutta we will fund our local partner organisation Development Action Society (DAS) to run and manage our three schools on our behalf. In the first year we have been highly impressed by the professionalism  by DAS in running our centres and  their and motivation to assist in providing education to the communities we work with.

We now look forward to the coming three years and to further enhance the programmes we provide and to see many more of our students make a brighter future for themselves and their families.
